Whether you own a single Isuzu Truck or a Fleet of Isuzu Trucks, keeping your truck in tip top condition takes a little daily care. As with any mechanical device, small problems picked up during frequent checks can prevent major inconveniences on the road.
So how do you obtain maximum life from your truck? By having the operator perform daily checks on the truck, you can eliminate and/or detect problems before they become BIG problems, especially for an operator on the road.
Daily Checks should include:

Isuzu Trucks South Africa (ITSA) this week celebrated a major milestone when the 30 000th Isuzu truck rolled off the production line at General Motors South Africa’s (GMSA) Kempston Road plant.
This milestone was achieved during an eight year period of production under ITSA, after a joint venture for truck manufacturing was formed between Isuzu Motors Limited of Japan and GMSA. The consolidated company was then named Isuzu Trucks South Africa (Pty) Limited.
According to Marchand McDonald, Isuzu Truck Plant Manager, this facility builds 47 different model derivatives, varying from 1.5 to 40 ton carrying capacity. “On the drivetrain side we use four engine types and three different transmission types – manual transmission, Auto-Manual-Transmission (AMT) as well as fully automatic transmission.
“The other interesting fact is that we build rear wheel drive trucks and all-wheel drive trucks, like a 4×4. [...]

It is easy to understand why Isuzu Truck South Africa has adopted a forward-thinking approach by selling genuine replacement parts to truck owners at a fraction of the cost, so they do not consider ‘pirate’ aftermarket components as a cheaper option.
Isuzu Truck South Africa understands that it is a business imperative to ensure that, despite the rise in cost of living and competing needs, new and existing Isuzu customers have access to replacement parts that ensure optimal performance, longevity, safety and proper functioning of their Isuzu Trucks.
The company is alive to the prevailing mindset among truck owners that genuine [...]
